Goodbye...my Sarah Jane!

For five years we've been bringing you news related to Sarah Jane Smith and her wondrous adventures with the Doctor, on her own and with the companions she collected along the way. We were already having slow periods between series when we dropped to once or twice a week, and now that the series has come to an end, we've decided to bring this newsletter to a close.

This doesn't mean that the news is going away completely. We'll still be reporting via our sister newsletter [info]who_daily, so please join and continue following Sarah Jane news there. Also we'll be merging our [info]soniclipstick watchlist into [info]who_daily's watchlist in order to facilitate this, but if you prefer not to have your journal added please let us know in the comments or via pm. The move will happen some time this weekend. If you weren't on the [info]soniclipstick watch list and would like to be added also let us know in the comments or via pm.

I feel like I should give this newsletter and everyone involved with it a standing ovation. You've been great, and I'm very, very sad to see it come to an end. [info]who_daily is a poor substitute; I almost never bother to even check that site, while here I would click on almost every link. But I understand and respect the decision to end, and thank you all for everything you've done to make this such a high-quality newsletter.

Sad news, but not entirely unexpected. Thank you for all your hard work and commitment over the years - this newsletter has been a wonderful source of information and news, and I'll miss it.

What a shock! To see close for 5 years is long time. But it is sad thing to see it end like this. Thank you for long hard work on this page and for the SJA fans as well.

Like the others, I am very, very sorry to see this newsletter go away. I wish there was a way to convince you all to keep it up. Even once a week or so would be better than none at all.

As someone else said, it's much harder to find the pieces just about Sarah Jane, Elisabeth and the others from the Bannerman Road Gang when it's mixed in with another, less specific, list.

Will the old soniclipstick entries be archived? Or will they be merged into whodaily?

In any case, thanks for all your hard work over the years. It's been fun.
